Montachusett Economic Development District & Montachusett Region Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee Meeting
Three public meetings of the Federally designated Montachusett Economic Development District1 and Montachusett Region Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee (MEDD/MRCEDS) will be held at:
• 5:00 p.m., August 3rd;
• 8:00 a.m., August 4th; and,
• Noon, August 5th.
These meetings will be held both in-person (at the MRPC, 464 Abbott Avenue, Leominster) and online.
• Online Attendance
- For attending the August 3rd meeting online, prior registration with the MRPC is required by registering here.
• In-Person Attendance
- Prior registration is not necessary for meeting participants that will attend in person at MRPC’s office located at 464 Abbott Avenue, Leominster, MA 01453 where a sign-in sheet will be provided.
- In order to protect the health and safety of employees and visitors to the MRPC, this agency follows COVID-19 safety protocols as issued by both the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) and US Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

• Online Attendance
- All potential attendees (Commissioners and guests) are asked to register prior to the starting time of the meeting (7:00 p.m.) to ensure that all meeting technology will be working properly before the meeting begins.
- All MRPC employees attending the meeting must register prior to the meeting.

- Prior registration is not necessary for meeting participants that will attend in person at MRPC’s office located at 464 Abbott Avenue, Leominster, MA 01453 where a sign-in sheet will be provided.

REGISTERING FOR PUBLIC MEETINGS OF THE MRPC
Please be advised that all, potential meeting attendees and staff must register in advance of MRPC public meetings in order to receive an online meeting link.
This applies to MRPC meetings held online and “hybrid” (meetings held online and in-person).
Meeting attendees are urged to register prior to a posted starting meeting time but may also register to attend a meeting throughout the duration of public meeting in accordance with the Open Meeting Law as revised and enacted on June 16, 2021.
The above applies to the MRPC meetings which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Meetings of the Commissioners of the Montachusett Regional Planning Commission
- Montachusett Metropolitan Planning Organization (MMPO);
- Montachusett Joint Transportation Committee (MJTC);
- Montachusett Economic Development District and Montachusett Region Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee (MEDD/MRCEDS); and,
- Any and all other committees and subcommittee meetings of the MRPC and its public body affiliates.
Virtual attendee registration information follows:
1. In accordance with the Open Meeting Law, potential meeting participants are welcome to register throughout the duration of a posted public meeting;
2. Registration information will include potential meeting members’ name, affiliation, and email address;
3. All persons registering for meeting access will be admitted to the meeting; and,
4. Registrants will be issued online meeting information via email.

This meeting utilizes GoToMeeting. MRPC staff will not be able to provide technical assistance concerning these online meeting platforms. Meeting registrants are urged to download the software here well in advance of any and all MRPC meetings and to obtain help from the online app websites, provided here for your convenience.
